I n the mid-19th century the fortified wine resulting from a craft blend of wines, mistelles, herbs, plants and roots was made for the first time in Spain. In essence, the first vermouth.
The company's founding father, Augustus Perucchi, was responsible for pioneering this blend in 1876, according to the oldest records kept at the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona.

Almost a century and a half later, hardly anything has changed between the four walls of the Perucchi winery.
The quality of Perucchi vermouth remains unchanged thanks to the traditional processes of maceration, crushing, blending, pressing and filtering, followed by ageing in centuries-old casks.
Just the slightest variation in its more than 50 ingredients would totally unbalance the harmony of a beverage of such characteristics that has been maintained over the years for more than a century.
The exquisite choice of herbs, plants and roots harvested when they are just ripe ensures that their unmistakable aromas and flavours can still be perceived.
The same ageing tanks and vats used since the foundation of Perucchi sit in stark contrast with the very latest bottling and labelling technologies.
The bottle’s stopper is made from cork trees from the Alt Empordà region and the wooden top of beech from the county of Osona.
Our wine experts certify that all the products we use are totally natural, without any kind of preservative or antioxidant being added.
The various ingredients and the quantities in which they are used, together with our winemaking processes, form one of the company’s best kept secrets.
INGREDIENTS
1 ¼ oun, 1 ounce gin, 1 ounce Campari, ¾ Perucchi Gran Reserva Vermouth
DIRECTIONS
Add ice and ingredients to glass and stir until chilled. Garnish with an orange peel.
INGREDIENTS
1 ounce Perucchi Bianco Vermouth, 2 ounces Bourbon Whiskey, 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
DIRECTIONS
Add ice and ingredients to a mixing glass and stir until chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with twist or a maraschino cherry.

1 ounce Perucchi Bianco Extra Dry Vermouth, 3 ounces Gin
DIRECTIONS
Add ice and ingredients to a mixing glass and stir until chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a twist or olives.
INGREDIENTS
1 ½ ounce Perucchi Gran Reserva Vermouth, 1 ½ ounce Campari Soda
DIRECTIONS
Build directly in a highball glass on the rocks. Top with soda. Garnish with an orange slice.
DIRECTIONS
Put several ice cubes in a balloon ball.
Pour three parts dry frothy, two parts Spritz Perucchi and one part soda into the balloon ball.
Stir slowly.
Decorate with a slice of orange.
Put 3 ice cubes in a balloon glass.
Pour 5 parts of cola and 1 of Vermouth Rosso Perucchi Il Giovane.
Stir slowly.
Decorate with a slice of orange.
